Qualification Requirements for Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) latest jobs
• M.Sc (Hons) / M.Phil degree in
the field of Plant Breeding and Genetics / Plant Biotechnology from HEC recognized
University/ Institution. (1st divisions in final relevant degree).
• Experience
in rice crop will be preferred.
• Demonstrated research and
publication record
• Knowledge of agricultural
production, processing and marketing systems
• Excellent communication skills
in English and Urdu
• Strong organizational and
problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
• Develop research plans and
strategies to support the PARC’s R&D objectives
• Prepare research proposals,
reports and other documents pertaining to research activities
• Conduct research related to
agricultural sciences and technology
• Provide technical guidance and
assistance to the R&D departments of the PARC and its affiliated
organizations
• Lead research teams and
coordinate with other researchers
• Analyze and interpret data and
present results to the relevant stakeholders
• Monitor and evaluate the
progress of research projects
• Contribute to the development
of new technologies and applications for the agricultural industry
